I have been a full-time resident of Hamilton for the past 21 years. The City’s rich architecture and eclectic neighbourhoods beckoned me to begin a career in real estate and I haven’t looked back. It was also a natural progression from my former career in the film and television industry.

As a native of Toronto’s Bloor West Village, I was charmed by Hamilton—the fabulous and affordable homes as well as the natural amenities and green space in and around the City. I had to be a part of it, and it proved to be the right move.

I always strive to find the perfect home for my clients—a perfect extension of my former career as a locations scout. Whether they see just a few houses or many, I won’t stop until I find and secure the right one! I work with my team to help my clients prepare their homes properly for the sale—an extension of my work as a set dresser. The rare combination of locations management and set decoration has led to a unique approach to my real estate career. From contemplating an upcoming move to seeing its successful completion, working with my seller-buyer clients has become a well-honed process.

When selling a property for a client, I work hard to find the right price for the most effective sale. I discuss their home’s unique characteristics and highlight the special features likely to attract prospective buyers. My sales techniques have proved effective and were instrumental in naming me as a top producer for well over a decade.

We knew Liz for a number of years prior to selling our home. There was an immediate simpatico that was borne out when we decided it was time for us to downsize. We kept her busy, asking to show us a number of places that caught our eye. She was always willing, knowing that it was a process, and that some folks take a little longer to decide. She talked us through that process, assuring us that when the right place came up, we would know. And it was so. She was very prompt in responding to texts and questions, once the avalanche of paperwork started to drown us, and she found us a diligent and resourceful mortgage broker to help find the bridge financing that we needed. Like many others, we can’t say enough positive things about Liz. Some people think that a trustworthy real estate agent is an oxymoron. Liz Parker proves them wrong.

I contacted Elizabeth on the recommendation of a friend when I decided to move from Muskoka to Hamilton. Knowing almost nothing about Hamilton I was in need of a knowledgeable, patient, and friendly guide. Elizabeth was all of those things. It took a while, but we finally found the perfect house and Elizabeth was very helpful in finalizing the deal. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking an excellent realtor.

We were referred to Elizabeth Parker by 3 different parties that had used her in the past. We were undecided and a bit anxious, as we have used friends and family members in the past, and they did not work out. I have heard it be said never to use Friends or Family, and now I know why. You still feel an obligation to them and we mulled it over for a month or so and then called Elizabeth. Initially we were going to have 3 agents come in and see who we liked the best, but from our first meeting with Elizabeth, we liked her right off the bat. She is very very positive and encouraging. For a very successful agent, she is not at all pretentious and made us feel very much at ease. She was also familiar with our Condo building. Within days, we met with her stager, Annette. This was another positive experience. The staging process took a few weeks and we were very happy with the results. The open houses and showings started and we started sending properties to Elizabeth to view. Our location and price range, property type changed a few times and Liz was right on it. Within minutes of sending a property and requesting a viewing, she would confirm it back. In hindsight, some of these properties were not great once viewed, but Liz did not discourage us from viewing them. It taught us what we did not want. When we did view homes, Liz was very meticulous at finding flaws and pointing out things to look for. As the weeks passed, anyone I told that we were dealing with Liz, was familiar with her and gave her very high praise. She has a large and vast client base in Hamilton and beyond with generation after generation trusting her with their real estate needs. We listed in January and sold in 36 days. That is excellent for January! Once we found the property we wanted, the offer was presented. She kept in constant communication with us, as offers are not done in person anymore. This was new to us, but actually better than sitting in your car for hours. It went back and forth for a few hours and we got some great insight and advice from Liz during this time. A lot of forms and signatures and paperwork was involved. Liz was with us through all of it and explained everything. We would not for one minute hesitate to recommend Elizabeth if you are buying or selling. She is a busy lady, but she gets the job done in a very professional manner.
