We were referred to Elizabeth Parker by 3 different parties that had used her in the past. We were undecided and a bit anxious, as we have used friends and family members in the past, and they did not work out. I have heard it be said never to use Friends or Family, and now I know why. You still feel an obligation to them and we mulled it over for a month or so and then called Elizabeth. Initially we were going to have 3 agents come in and see who we liked the best, but from our first meeting with Elizabeth, we liked her right off the bat. She is very very positive and encouraging. For a very successful agent, she is not at all pretentious and made us feel very much at ease. She was also familiar with our Condo building. Within days, we met with her stager, Annette. This was another positive experience. The staging process took a few weeks and we were very happy with the results. The open houses and showings started and we started sending properties to Elizabeth to view. Our location and price range, property type changed a few times and Liz was right on it. Within minutes of sending a property and requesting a viewing, she would confirm it back. In hindsight, some of these properties were not great once viewed, but Liz did not discourage us from viewing them. It taught us what we did not want. When we did view homes, Liz was very meticulous at finding flaws and pointing out things to look for. As the weeks passed, anyone I told that we were dealing with Liz, was familiar with her and gave her very high praise. She has a large and vast client base in Hamilton and beyond with generation after generation trusting her with their real estate needs. We listed in January and sold in 36 days. That is excellent for January! Once we found the property we wanted, the offer was presented. She kept in constant communication with us, as offers are not done in person anymore. This was new to us, but actually better than sitting in your car for hours. It went back and forth for a few hours and we got some great insight and advice from Liz during this time. A lot of forms and signatures and paperwork was involved. Liz was with us through all of it and explained everything. We would not for one minute hesitate to recommend Elizabeth if you are buying or selling. She is a busy lady, but she gets the job done in a very professional manner. It is very evident that she was meant to be in real estate. She knows her stuff and it shows how much she loves it. Judy Marsales Real Estate is so very lucky to have her.
