I'm writing to ensure you're aware of how pleased I've been with the service provided to my family by Kirsten McNamee of your Westdale Real Estate Brokerage offce in connection with our recent purchase of a condo in downtown Hamilton.
We currently own a home in Westdale and were looking for a centrally-located condo in the $100,000 range to rent to our daughter who has been living at home since she graduated from university a couple of years ago. I understood that our purchase was not likely to be very profitable for the real estate agent representing us, and want to let you know that the assistance Kirsten has provided far exceeded the level at which she herself benefited. She understood our needs and budget, didn't waste our time with properties that weren't appropriate for us, provided a very timely response every time I need to get in touch, and gave us good and straightforward advice throughout the purchase itself - and afterwards.
We are especially grateful for Kirsten's support for almost two months post-closing when we encountered difficulty obtaining keys that worked and access to the locker (which then proved to be full of the previous owner's belongings - a problem because he died shortly after our purchase). Kirsten continued to liaise with the listing agent on our behalf, and provide advice to us, to try to resolve these issues. In this, she went above and beyond what we could have reasonably expected of her. We appreciate her efforts very much, and I wanted you to know that she has certainly done your firm proud.
