Geoff grew up in Etobicoke with his parents, his brother and sister. After graduating high school, Geoff went on to attend Carleton University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.
While traveling in Australia after school, Geoff began working in the hospitality industry which he continued back in Canada. He has thrived in that business for over two decades, operating some of the most successful restaurants in the Hamilton, Ancaster, and Burlington areas. Geoff not only brings the transferable skills he honed over the years in communication, organization, and negotiating to the Real Estate market, Geoff also brings a cultural component which is understanding and working with people from all age groups and backgrounds.
Now a proud Hamiltonian for over 20 years, Geoff began by living in the Locke St neighbourhood for a few years. He and his wife Nicole then settled into their home in the Sherwood Heights neighbourhood on the Mountain.
In his spare time, Geoff enjoys making gourmet meals in the kitchen, working on home renovations, and organizing community street parties such as the famous “Ribfest on the Rise”. Also, Geoff really enjoys bringing his mother to her winter home in Florida each year and any extra time is an added bonus.

We first met Geoff Baker when we decided to put our house for sale. He was working with Catherine Palmer and they made a great team.. Geoff took us thru all the forms and legalities of selling a home, explaining them to us in a manner we could understand. He offered to help us with downsizing and arranged to have excess furniture picked up and delivered to a charity. He suggested a good arrangement of furniture to enhance the look of the home.
