Meet Lori MacRae!
Lori was born and raised in Hamilton, and she is a graduate of McMaster University. She has enjoyed living and working in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Waterdown, Carlisle, and Stoney Creek as well. She appreciates the trails, waterfront, and escarpment, as does her Bernese Mountain dog. She has a love of fitness and music. When she is not working out or enjoying yoga, she is playing the piano or trumpet. Other passions involve community outreach and writing. She loves to make a difference by volunteering at the local food bank and is a proud member of the Optimist Club. She has also successfully authored six French books.
Lori retired from the Halton District School Board after 31 awesome years as a Core French Teacher. She was recognized as the Distinguished Educator of the Year for Halton. She brings her strong work ethic, leadership, value of fostering positive relationships and desire to help others to her role as a Sales Representative. Her clients will appreciate her attention to detail and outstanding customer service. Our house hunting experience could only be described as a whirlwind of a journey; however, we will be eternally grateful that Lori MacRae led the way and navigated us to finding our forever home! As first-time home buyers the idea of purchasing a house was beyond daunting. A part of that was also due to our somewhat negative sentiments about realtors being out to make quick money by selling us any house that came along. This is not the first time we have bought and sold, actually it is our 4th time. Lori sold our house for substantially over asking price in just one viewing. Literally our house was on the market for mere hours. Little did we know just how hard it would be to find a house to buy. We had a firm budget and a ton of non-negotiable requirements for a new house. It literally seemed impossible. Lori really understood what we needed and did not hesitate to tell us how the house we were viewing met or did not meet our requirements. Even when we started to feel we better "settle" she would tell us to hold on and that our house was waiting for us. I am not sure when Lori sleeps as it seemed she was helping us find a home 24 hours a day. Lori found us the PERFECT home that fell right in our budget, met all our needs and all our pets needs. She even had the idea to to include a little personal note with our offer saying how much we would cherish our chosen house. I think it went a long way into helping us secure the house. The sellers market is so hot right now that you need that extra push to really stand out in a sea of offers.
I think it is worth mentioning that I have a friend on the West Coast who is a Realtor and I asked her to help me find one here who would be a "good fit" for our family.
