After a very rewarding profession as a teacher and as a Principal, Janice has honed her ability to listen carefully to the wants, needs and concerns of the people she serves. With over three decades of serving Hamilton, as well as Ancaster, Binbrook, and Stoney Creek, Janice has gained a true sense of the characteristics of each part of our community.

Painting water colours, decorating, landscaping, downhill skiing and staying fit are some of Janice’s favourite activities. As an educator, she coached, designed school newsletters, websites and various school and board programs. However, spending time with family and friends remains the most treasured past time, and why “home” has such a special meaning to her.
